Job hunting can be a lonely, stressful, and demoralizing experience. Stress and self-doubt slowly creep in and get worse over time. There is nothing more frustrating than applying for jobs and not getting any response; it feels as if your cover letter and résumé have gone into a black hole.

The solution to job-search depression is not as easy as just sending out more résumés. Even strong candidates aren’t guaranteed success, creating a constant uncertainty of not knowing when the job search will end. Therefore, it is so important that job seekers today understand the current workplace and job market. The ways that job seekers go about getting a job are always changing. The simple fact is that we need to enhance our job search skills in order to have a better chance in the competitive job market.

The CareerSource Broward webinar, “Career Pathways,” was designed to motivate and empower Job Seekers to become employed. With the right tools, anyone can achieve this! This class is your first step in the job search process.  Topics covered include understanding the changing job market, identifying your skills/accomplishments, networking strategies, job search methods/tips, and writing effective cover letters.

Our professional workshop facilitators are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience to provide exceptional tools for helping Job Seekers get ahead. The “Career Pathways” workshop is held both virtually (Mondays at 3pm) and in person at no cost to you.
