The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) offers an incredible opportunity for Broward County students ages 16 to 18 to gain paid employment from June to August. Funded primarily by the Children’s Services Council of Broward County, SYEP is more than just a job—it’s a comprehensive learning experience. Participants learn essential skills such as how to secure a job, maintain employment, and develop professionalism. This dynamic program is designed to equip youth for the future workforce.
SYEP aims to match students with positions in various industries that align with their career interests. Participants can gain hands-on experience in roles such as clerical assistants, aides, and more, working with government agencies, libraries, community organizations, for-profits, nonprofits, and beyond.
