Being able to network can open many doors and opportunities for job seekers. But since the pandemic began, networking has changed the ways we connect with others. The traditional meet-and-greet and other physical events have been downscaled or eliminated due to social distancing protocols. However, more people are becoming comfortable using technology to reach others in innovative ways.
The art of networking can be challenging for many, but it gets easier once you become acclimated to the process. Job seekers aim to create strong relationships that can form actionable results; being strategically creative in knowing where to connect with people is the beginning of growing your network.
The “Networking (The Power of People)” workshop talks about the importance of networking as a job seeker, with information on how to network and maximize those valuable relationships. This workshop is held on Tuesdays at 10am and Wednesdays at 3 pm at no cost to you. Customers may register for this or other online workshops at https://careersourcebroward.com/career-seekers/events.
Note: This workshop is part of the PPN (Professional Placement Network) series and has eligibility requirements. For more information, go to https://careersourcebroward.com/ppn.
