FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – May 20, 2020 – Broward County residents looking for assistance with building a résumé, job search, interview preparation, social media and more can now participate in CareerSource Broward’s professional career workshops online – all at NO COST.

The one-hour workshops – which are taught by certified workforce professionals – are live, interactive webcasts hosted on the Zoom video-conferencing application. Individuals are able to access the workshops from the comfort of their home by using their smartphone, tablet or computer.

“Our agency continues to incorporate new methods of technology, which allows us to bring our programs and services to customers without risking their health and well-being,” said Mason C. Jackson, President/CEO of CareerSource Broward. “The labor market is changing and because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, more individuals are now doing interviews, job search and networking all online. With this in mind, we are giving individuals the tools and preparation they need to help find employment and gain a competitive edge in today’s workforce.

The online workshops are available on a weekly basis. Complete descriptions of each workshop, as well as scheduled dates and direct workshop links, can be found by visiting www.careersourcebroward.com/career-seekers/onlineworkshops.
